CAPACITY BUILDING MATERIAL FOR TEACHING

Deliverable D2.2: Capacity Building Material for Teaching provides a practical resource for everyone involved in the development and implementation of micro-credentials.

Designed for academic staff, programme developers, quality assurance professionals, lifelong learning units, digital learning specialists, administrators, and university leaders, it offers step-by-step guidance, templates, tools, and examples that can be directly applied in institutional practice.

The materials support stakeholders throughout the entire micro-credential lifecycle, from identifying learner and labour market needs to defining learning outcomes, designing learning activities and assessments, planning workload and credit allocation, ensuring quality, and managing recognition and certification processes.

Users can benefit from ready-to-use resources for course design, delivery, review, and continuous improvement, while university management and quality assurance bodies can use the material to strengthen institutional procedures, improve consistency, and align micro-credentials with national qualifications frameworks and relevant European standards.

Flexible and adaptable, D2.2 can be used for staff training, workshops, self-directed learning, mentoring, peer review, and strategic planning. It supports partner universities in developing high-quality, labour market-relevant micro-credentials while building sustainable institutional capacity for lifelong learning and innovation.

The resource also includes the University of Dubrovnik model as an example of good practice in accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional approval, offering a practical reference that can be adapted to different national and institutional contexts.
