Banking Institute of Laos (BIBOL), established in 1979 under the Bank of the Lao PDR, is a key institution for higher education and professional training in the fields of banking, finance and accounting in Laos.
BIBOL provides undergraduate programmes in banking, accounting, finance, microfinance and auditing, as well as a master’s degree in banking and finance. The institution also delivers a wide range of professional training courses aimed at strengthening skills and competencies in the financial sector.
Through its academic and training activities, BIBOL plays an important role in the development of financial expertise and capacity building in Laos. Within the MICRO4ASIA project, BIBOL contributes to the development of micro-credentials and supports the enhancement of education and training systems in line with international standards.
