Champassak University (CU) is a public higher education institution in Laos operating under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Sports. The University plays a key role in providing higher education in Southern Laos and contributes to the development of skilled human resources in the region.
CU offers a broad range of academic programmes across six faculties, including Agriculture and Forestry, Education, Economics and Management, Engineering and Natural Sciences. The University is equipped with modern facilities such as laboratories, an ICT centre and agricultural research and demonstration centres.
With over 3,500 students and more than 400 staff members, Champassak University is actively engaged in international cooperation, maintaining numerous agreements and partnerships with institutions in Asia and Europe. Within the MICRO4ASIA project, CU contributes to the development and implementation of micro-credentials and supports capacity building and innovation in higher education.
